In Memoriam of Sterling Lombard

It is with a heavy heart to share with the WCUI + Smith Chason community of the sudden and unexpected passing of Sterling Lombard. Sterling was a proud member of the WCUI + Smith Chason family and Financial Aid team at our Phoenix campus. He was a kind, enthusiastic member of our community, always ready to share a laugh or a heartfelt word even during times of stress. He supported our new and current students through the often confusing process of funding their education and making sure they were ready to make their dreams of restarting their education come true. Our faculty, staff, students, and community will miss him. Thank you Sterling for your dedication to making a difference in our students’ lives, your compassion for helping and giving back to everyone around you, and for the impact you had not only on our students but on your fellow coworkers. You will be greatly missed.
