Precision Care Management is hosting a Respiratory Skills Competency Training for Subacute Care to provide basic respiratory management training skills for our Smith Chason nurses. The training will take place on Friday, August 12th from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm in-person at our Ontario Campus!

About the Respiratory Skills Competency Training for Nurses – 8 CEUs Offered

PCM is offering the course for our nurses for only $75.00 plus a $4.22 online processing fee. But online registration ends August 11th, 2022! Registration at the door will be $125.00

During the course you will be taught:

Review Of Pulmonary Physiology – Ventilation (With Emphasis On Airway Management)
Arterial Blood Gas Interpretation
Ventilator Management
Respiratory Assessment (with Emphasis On Patient With Artificial Airways)
Recognizing Respiratory Distress
and Tracheostomy Tube And Tracheostomy Care

This course is designed to provide Tracheotomy Tube care, Patient care for ventilator-dependent residents, training and skills competency for licensed nurses working in an acute, Subacute, or skilled nursing facility. In addition, a review of respiratory anatomy, physiology, and patient respiratory assessment are presented. The participants will be provided with both classroom didactic and hands-on practice. Following the in-service, participants will have their clinical skills validated and recorded.
